Amaya Marina finds herself in a sticky situation when she ends up captive on a pirate ship, the only thing saving her from death being the information that she knows. Even if she manages to escape the forsaken pirate ship, she knows that she can never return home. That will only lead them to her mother.

Everyone is born with a Soul Key. It is imperative to hold on tightly to your own, because once someone else is in control of your key, they have the power to control you. Only time will tell who actually is in control of their actions, and who is being dangled like a puppet on strings.

The line between friend and foe is blurred, and Amaya quickly realizes that she cannot trust anyone. In this story of pirates, witches, oracles, and those with the powers of the sea, Amaya finds out that she might not be as mundane as she thinks.

Beneath the Waves (Ocean Song Book 1)

44 parts Complete Mature

A storm gathers on the horizon, and the sea shall swallow all... Serena Adamaris's life is fairly ordinary aside from the ostracization at school, living with four older brothers and a father who spends more time staring out at the sea than anything else. The very thing responsible for her mother's death. But everything goes to hell with the disappearance of her father. One mistake, one fall, and myth becomes reality... She should've listened. If she had, life would still be normal and there wouldn't be so many things trying to kill her. This new mythical world of merpeople is supposed to be magical and bright. But it's anything but that, and now, she just might have gotten her entire family caught up in a whole new world of troubles. But what is one girl supposed to do against a threat to an entire underwater kingdom?
