I wish I could say life has been easy.
But that would be a lie.
Having a parent pass, all but easy.
Having a great group of friends though, that only makes it easier to cope.
The down fall of that group of friends though, is that after a funeral, long summer vacation, the one friend I looked most forward to seeing, I can't even form a sentence with now.

The summer before his 8th grade year, Calvin Truitt, his father John, and little brother Brayden went through a devastating loss.

Fast forward 4 years, and barely a word has been said between he, and his former bruh girl best friend turned baddie, until, Calvin's fresh new sister shows up in beautiful St Augustine Florida, and just as much as he and his friends rocked her world, she rocked his by befriending beautiful Delilah Martin.
Delilah, she is the girl Calvin has always dreamed of.
