Mack learned the hard way that nothing worth having in life is easy.
You have to fight and work for everything.

He has and his life is good. Great actually. He has a good job, a woman he loves and a child he adores. Plus, a large, scruffy mutt that make their family complete.

But after a tragic accident things change-a LOT and in very strange ways.
Things that he can't explain. That no one can explain keep happening.

First, there's the squirrel resurrection, followed by the storm that only hit his house, not to mention the wind that seems to follow his girlfriend.

And then there are the dragons and the birds, and he can't forget the attack of the trees.
Something wants his family, and he isn't going to let that happen, but how can he stop magic when he is just a normal human?
