Waking up in a forest with no recollection of who you are or where you were is not an excellent way to start anyone's day. For Genevieve, it was probably the unluckiest way. She tries to survive on her own, but the worry of not escaping the endless trees along with the thought of giving up invades her mind. With all hope lost Genevieve is saved by a man- a mysterious, good-looking, and well-built man with a gift beyond her knowledge. Despite his stubborn and dismissive ways towards her, she instantly attaches herself to his hip in hopes that he will help her recover her past. After many searches and turnarounds together, they finally discover the problem behind her absent memories. She realizes that forgetting was never an option. She was bound to face something she had been evading all along, and there was no running away from it now that she knew what had to be done. The truth was staring her in the face, and she had to confront it head-on.
