"Now listen to me carefully. The Earth's fate hangs in the balance." Her future self said, tone grim. "There wasn't anyone else I'd trust my Luyten V with. Use it to fight, defend the world. Or else, everyone is doomed!"

That dire message thrusts Rosemary Brahe into a desperate battle against the Altair, a parasitic monstrosity from the outer reaches of reality. In the far-flung future, they all but destroyed the earth and the rest of humanity. But her future self offers a second chance, an opportunity to make things right. I nod, my head subconsciously leaning into his touch my eyes closing on their own accord. His thumb caresses my cheekbone and I never want him to stop.
