Eloise Barlowe is a 24-year-old woman amid the terrors of the ongoing war- World War 2, which she found herself heavily involved in frighteningly fast. She's a nurse, steady with her hands, skilled in medical knowledge, and was soon enough stationed at the 305th Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force, where she worked for countless months- that was until she was quickly transferred to the 100th Bomb Group who was in dire need of more medical assistance. In particular, Flight Nurses. There, she meets Major John "Bucky" Egan, who she finds is one of the most annoying men she's ever met- though, the more time she spends with him, the harder she finds herself falling for him. The only question is if the two will live to see their blossoming romance grow as the harsh war rages on.
