Talia Cardazo knew life wasn't fair; she had experienced such a sentiment firsthand. But despite the harshness of life, and whatever came beyond it, she wouldn't let it break her; she told herself that if it did, then what would become of her?

One day, her only true friend expressed her desire to rehabilitate the scum of the land, wanting to help people better themselves and get a second chance to achieve the seemingly impossible; earning a spot in Heaven. Of course, Talia was more than eager to offer her assistance; it sounded like everything that she'd ever dreamed of, helping others in a place where such a concept was completely foreign.

But if there was one thing that she had learned from her time in such a place, it was that nothing in Hell ever went as planned. People would come and go into her life, and she didn't know if she would be able to watch them try to leave; especially one whom she had grown attached to in a way she had never anticipated.

After all, where those demons were attempting to go, Talia was more than certain that she could never, ever follow.
