Fighting Machines

In this world, everything is frozen. Everybody has either moved farther south, or they live in barricaded cities, trying to survive.
A man named Felix has grown in this world. His city is controlled by one man, who also controls machines. These machines are literally made out of spare parts, and humans.

Felix, who follows the rules to stay alive, eventually meets Naomi, a young girl who has more in common with him than he thought.
Once the machines target her, their only option is to run away from the city, and struggle to survive the harsh winter outside the walls.
