Paper Cuts

Shiane is bratty out in public, but quiet and content in her home. Her parents have made sure of this because her father like other's reactions when she throws temper tantrums at the local mall to get a fluffy pair of boots, but her mother doesn't like to deal with her. They argue constantly and the only support they give her is through money, so she creates small paper characters to keep her mind off of everything.

But when the lights go off and her eyes aren't on them, are their actions just on paper?
