Allegra is a trained assassin. She spends a few years in the mortal world, killing others to keep herself alive. Allegra has successfully kept herself away from her mother, from the realm she was born in, until one day, her old identity comes back to haunt her.

Allegra gets kidnapped, only to find herself in the one place she's been running from, the faerie realm.
