If you like MCR and The Used, you've come to the right place! Ever heard of the Toxic Twins? That's what Bert and Gerard were known as back in the day, which brings about the ideas for this. It's a collection of oneshots about Gerard Way and Bert McCracken. Most of the chapters will be x reader but no promises on there being a few that have characters instead. The majority of the chapters will have Gerard and Bert but there may be one here and there that just has one of them. Also, can't forget special guest appearances by Mikey, Frank, Ray, Jepha, Quinn, and Branden!
(Just a quick note: Updates will probably be slow on this one. Sorry! But I still hope you enjoy it!)

pastel skirts and skinny jeans
Gerard is new to the school.. he finally got kicked out of his old one, now being forced to go to school with Mikey, not that's it's a bad thing. unlike what people would thing, Gerard and Mikey get along great..it's just other people that bugs Gerard. he sticks out like a sore thumb, hes soft spoken and has pretty feminine features as well as dressing up in pastel clothes (skirts). he gets into fights a lot and he's not afraid to stick up for himself but it gets tiring so he normally lets his bully's do whatever they need. at his new school he meets Frank. he's known to not let people push him the wrong way and he'll call you out on your bullshit. Frank finds Gerard...uh, interesting. it's hard to tell what Gerard is thinking most times and that really bugs Frank. Gerard tends to be in his own and Frank wants to change that...but how can he? Gerard will forever be known as the "cross dresser" and Frank will always be seen as "too good" for Gerard.

Don't Look Down
Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him whole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother, Mikey, and best friend, Ray know glimpses of how he really is. Complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart and these strangers are forced into each other's lives. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems or will they become too much to bear? *Trigger warning (self harm, suicide) *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning! I wrote this when I was 13 and finished when I was like 15. Haven't really touched it since. Sequel "Never look up" both fanfics make me cringe tbh but I love themComplete
Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us ~ Gerard Way
Gerard Way x female reader (Three Cheers Era) ~ Warning: self harm, mentions and attempts of suicide, alcohol/drug use ~ Y/n and Gerard grew up together, but not as friends. They despised each other and the universe seemed like it was trying to get them to get along. Unfortunately, we don't always get what we want, and that's the hard truth. They slowly start to realize that they're basically copies of each other and that they're practically hating themselves; we love ourselves, not hate. ~ "Uh," Frank gestures to his legs, "yeah." "That's a slay." Mikey chimes in. "Slay?" He looks confused. "It means good. Awesome. Slay." "I'm definitely not slaying then."Complete

If you're going to shit on this book, the door is waiting for you - but if it's constructive criticism or you want it to be taken down feel free to comment or DM me. I totally get it and I'll do so straight away. stated : 26th March 2018 completed : 8th February 2021 (that's fucking three years kids) It takes about two hours to read, start to finish and has over 30,000 words all together - I know some people like that information.
