In Silas' eyes, he's getting closer to 30 even though he's in his mid-twenties. However, with all his friends and even his younger brother getting into relationships and starting families, he can only accept that he's hit a mid-life crisis and that the only thing he should do is separate himself and start something new.
He's the definition of doesn't do much but maybe that will all change when he decides to put in some effort into meeting someone, or not.
As for Samira, used to being disappointed by now, she takes everything with a grain of salt. Still, with her best friend giving up all their dreams for a man and the only position she's had her eyes set on gets taken by a man who knows nothing about the company flies in, and gets the job without even trying she's just about to lose her s**t.
