In Silas' eyes, he's getting closer to 30 even though he's in his mid-twenties. However, with all his friends and even his younger brother getting into relationships and starting families, he can only accept that he's hit a mid-life crisis and that the only thing he should do is separate himself and start something new.

As for Samira, used to being disappointed by now, she takes everything with a grain of salt.
