He was very hard to please. Ever since enrollment tests UA started going out, Shigiraki made his daughter take them. She had a good quirk. It was called "Writing". Y/N could use her quirk by drawing something, anything, down with any type of ink/read-able substance, and it would appear before her. When her dad made her apply, she did so without a question. Her mission was to get information about UA and tell her father.
