In a family filled with love and dreams, witness their remarkable journey towards freedom. Atina, the light of the home, is a brave and determined mother who is ready to face any challenge for her children. She continuously strives to provide a bright future for her children: Mark Jose, the eldest who dreams of becoming a seafarer; Mia, the second child full of talent and dreams of becoming a flight attendant; and Peter, the youngest who aspires to be a police officer.
 
In the beginning, their family was filled with joy and togetherness. But as time passed, their lives took a different turn. Leonard gradually drifted away from their presence due to his job as a driver in the province. The family no longer gathered around the dining table, and they lost the time to bond. Dreams and hopes of being together slowly faded in the darkness of disappointment and separation.
 
Amidst the challenges, Atina made the decision to find her own job to survive and support her children. Despite the hardships, she found the courage to work as a sales lady in a mall. Every day she worked, she carried with her the dream of giving her children a better future.
 
But the challenges did not end there. One day, Mia discovered a secret message for her father from another woman. Her disappointment and pain led to the separation of Atina and Leonard. Despite Leonard's attempts to reconcile and beg for forgiveness, Atina refused to be part of a relationship that lacked respect for her dignity and love.
