After murdoc is arrested 2d ends up becoming the temporary leader of gorillaz. It's quite overwhelming for the singer to take on his many new tasks as the new leader but he's doing his best to make the band proud. While looking for a bassist to temporarly replace murdoc he ends up meeting ace. At first the two are just friends and bandmates but in soon enough time the two become much more then just bandmates. FYI just to clear up confusion. These first of all are my comfort versions of the band. And second of all this is in no way following canon so if you don't like that i'm sorry.
