i just randomly felt like writing a quick poem inspired by agent 8 after SO's release. not sure why i wrote them as a sniper- i guess just cause ive been playing that a lot. just a lil thing i randomly felt like writing. hope y'all liked it!

Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters. Y/n L/n is an exceptional soldier and even better person;someone who would rather save others then himself but in an unfortunate turn of events his battalion is slaughtered mercilessly through illegal means. Being the only survivor he wants to get back at them,so he enrolls into a top secret project that should in theory make him faster,stronger and,better luckily it works but he's got bad luck and, is locked in because of human error someone added too many zeroes getting him locked in for an unprecedented amount of time. Having not aged while in the project he is released just short of the end of the war with both sides in a stalemate he turns the tables winning and,becoming a hero in the eye's of his people. He would hope to live a normal life but that would never happen as a disaster so severe would strike humanity so he did what was best for everyone else rather than him. It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. But what happens if a mysterious, unknown threat comes toward the surface, threatening to destroy both Inkling and Octoling kind alike? Can the agents work together to save their race?
