Kiara laughed softly, wiping the sand off her hands as she sat beside Lexi on the beach. "You know," she began, glancing at Lexi, "I think you might be the only person who can get me to do something like this."

Lexi smirked, nudging her with her shoulder. "What, you mean get you to skip the whole 'Kook' lifestyle for a night of chaos with us?"

"Exactly," Kiara said, her voice softening. "I never thought I'd be out here, crashing waves and-"

Lexi raised an eyebrow playfully. "And what? Risking your perfect hair?"

Kiara rolled her eyes, but there was a fond smile tugging at her lips. "I was going to say, risking my reputation... but yeah, I guess my hair too."

"You're lucky I like you," Lexi teased, her hand brushing Kiara's, lingering for a second longer than necessary.

Kiara's heart skipped a beat, but she kept her tone light. "Yeah? Well, you're lucky I like you too."

For a moment, neither of them said anything. Kiara turned to look at Lexi, catching the soft smile on her face. "You know, if I had known being reckless could be this fun, I would've jumped in sooner."

Lexi grinned. "I told you, Kie. It's always better when you're with me."
