"You have to go," he says, not sparing me a glance.

"Go?" I asked, sounding breathless. "Go where?"

"To the academy."

Excalibur had been meticulous in everything she did and she thought she had been careful enough until one day, she decided to head out to the woods and she found out that everything she did had gone to waste.

It was that day it changed her life. The day she found her mate.

The day she was sent to the notoriously known academy made for mates of the alphas and she tried to figure out where she had gone wrong. Turns out being cautious doesn't really change the ultimate outcome of your life.

The academy that was rumoured to torture its students both mentally and physically. To isolate you until you lose your mind. Said to brainwashed anyone who steps a foot inside. A place where once you enter, you either never come back out or come out a different person.

A place where no one can save you. Until Excalibur happened and was the first one to escape.

Yet there were consequences that followed every attempt.
