Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. This is a first draft so it is definitely not perfect yet.. Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where'd you learn to do that?" I asked about the intricate knots that he had tied so swiftly. He paused. "Jail." I glared at him in shock at what had just come out of his mouth. "Seriously?" His straight face broke into a grin. "No. Boy Scouts."
Blood and Ashes by urlove_mar
9 parts Ongoing Mature
In a world where darkness reigns and monsters rule, humanity's survival depends on those with power. A decade ago, the Earth fell to horrific creatures-beasts that tore apart cities and destroyed what remained of civilization. In the aftermath, society fractured into four groups, each shaped by its beliefs and the supernatural abilities that arose in response to the terror. Angels heal the wounded but at the cost of their vitality. Demons wage war on the monsters, fueled by their thirst for human blood. Rare and feared devils wield blood magic that allows them to control the essence of life itself, but they must feast on monster blood to regain their strength. And then there are the God-powered-a mysterious few who possess elemental abilities that could hold the key to ending the chaos but are believed to be little more than a myth. Emery, a quiet college student, lives in the shadows of this broken world. Though she possesses the powers of a Devil, she keeps her identity hidden, unwilling to draw attention. Her days are spent in isolation, away from the chaos, with only her books and a few trusted friends to keep her company. But when whispers of a possible God-powered emerge, Emery is thrust into a deadly race. If she can find them, the union of the Devil and God could be the world's only chance at survival. But trust is scarce, and betrayal lurks in every corner. Demons are unpredictable, Angels are slowly losing their strength, and the Devils grow increasingly detached from humanity, fueled by the monster blood they consume. As the hunt for the last hope intensifies, Emery must navigate a world of shifting allegiances, hidden agendas, and monsters that are not always what they seem. In this dystopian future, where fear and power rule, Emery will have to decide if saving the world is worth the cost of her humanity.

In a future where technology and mysticism intertwine, humanity has unlocked a gateway to the spirit realm. In a bustling cyberpunk metropolis governed by Sorumeito, a secretive organization promises a utopia where souls are carefully selected for reincarnation to achieve global harmony. Dr. Alma, a pioneering scientist, unveils a startling truth: Sorumeito has been manipulating the reincarnation process, unwittingly funneling purgatory spirits back into the mortal coil. Crime surges as these troubled souls wreak havoc across the cityscape. When Dr. Alma mysteriously disappears, her daughter, Emilia, driven by a quest for truth and justice, delves deep into the neon-lit underbelly of the city. Armed with forbidden knowledge and aided by unlikely allies-a rogue technomancer and a streetwise informant-she unravels a conspiracy that threatens not only the fabric of their society but the balance between the worlds of the living and the dead. As Emilia navigates the shadowy realms of both flesh and spirit, she must confront Sorumeito's enigmatic enforcers, unearth long-buried family secrets, and ultimately confront the true architects of a world where the line between salvation and damnation blurs. In a high-stakes tale of redemption and revolution, "Sorumeito's Veil" is a gripping fusion of cyberpunk grit and supernatural intrigue, where the fate of humanity hinges on the unraveling of mysteries that transcend the boundaries of life and death. Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.
