This story is about a creature named Spirit. She's an orphan that decides to escape the orphanage and live on the streets. After a few days, she found an armless creature with an abnormally large hand at the end of its tail in a box. When she saw this creature she instantly fell in love and cared for it like her own son. Years later, they finally rent an apartment. After a few nights, weird things start to happen. Read to find out more!

Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. im gna be honest this is a huge work in progress, but essentially After a major traumatic event in Griffen Westons life sends him spiraling into a life he never expected, things seem beyond fixing. He had never felt so empty. But grief has a certain smell. It's a scent that attracts a certain kind of creature when you head out into the woods. His dreams tell him tales before he sees them. He watches this mysterious wisp of white hair and green cloth dart about the moss to evade him. The scent of patchouli and lavender with the pugent musk of sulfur harrasses him into submitting into this feeble attempt at following her. Or It. Whoever this person may be, they heard him calling out. They knew what he needed. He never expected to find himself so enamored with something so unique. But he didnt know how to find a way to stay away from this curiosity.
