Sam , Dean and Cas are at a vampire nest. unfortunately , it goes wrong and the vamp attacks the 3 of them , taking Sam and Cas to torture them. the vamp gives Cas a shot wit an unknown substance in it. and it doesn't have any effect for a while...until it does.
but before that , Sam tells Cas to stall the vamp and he successfully does. Sam and Cas escape and Dean finds them and takes them back to the bunker.
some stuff begins to happen wit Cas but no 1 pays much mind...until Dean and Sam step away and Cas collapses. what will happen ?

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. The hero rewriting
This story is about Dean Winchester saving people. I got this idea from a dream. Dean was put in the job to save people after his mom died. Just his dad knows that he is the hero. he starts losing everyone else as the job filds his life more and more. Sam hates him because he feels like Dean doesn't care about him. Cas is also distant. Dean has always had a big crush on Cas. But he believes Cas couldn't like him anyway, at least not now. his life is getting more misreabale by the time that passes. he just wants everything to end. this is a rewriting of the original but its so much better and has more stuff so its so worth reading:)Complete
After the End
After ten years, the apocalypse seems to have ended, but no one can figure how, or why. Dean Winchester and his brother, Sam, had been hiding out in their bunker since the apocalypse started, separated from their father, with nobody but each other. The monsters they used to hunt were nothing compared to the hoards of undead that kept them confined to their bunker. Since it all stopped, they're free to roam the earth again. On a supply run soon after the undead are gone, Dean runs into a stranger, Castiel. Traveling with him, his nephew, Jack. While Dean's general rule is to never trust anyone, he can't help but feel responsible for protecting these two, especially Cas. Intent on finding somewhere they can settle down and start to rebuild their lives, the four of them set off to find food, shelter, and a community to call home. written for the 2k18 DeanCasMiniBang Challenge. Immediately set after 13x05. The Winchesters just received the most unexpected of the calls and now their life is on the verge of undergoing another, perhaps just as radical change. After losing his mother and his best friend, Dean found himself in a very dark place, unable to share Sam's stubborn hope that Mary might be alive and refusing to mourn Castiel. He's been stuck between trying to cope with their losses, with the aid of unhealthy amounts of alcohol, and being unable to hold back his anger issues, of which Sam and Jack have become the unlucky main targets. The reunion with the angel, while, on one hand, shines a fresh ray of hope on the boys' path, on the other puts a spotlight on the mistakes made in the previous weeks and brings up issues that have been ignored and avoided for too long. Cas is determined to reconnect with Jack and try to fix the relationship between Dean and the nephilim, together with helping his best friend to heal. This assuming that he can get through the older hunter first. Because getting Dean Winchester to talk about his feelings can turn out to be as hard as stopping the umpteenth apocalypse. Could a possible, spooky-looking case offer the chance to break the impasse?Complete
