24 year old male, Orion Reed is the average male simply avoiding any form of social interaction that isn't required. He is rarely noticed or known as anything more than a antisocial loner who spends his time in the dorm or working as far as they know. It isn't until there is news of an unexpected murder case reoccuring for the first time in several years that things start occuring, each more unusual then the last. The idea of love simmering in his head as nothing more than a inconvenience as a strange girl begins to appear more frequently. There is something about her that draws him in, though this isn't the typical love story. Is she the cause behind the murders? Does she have something to do with them? Or is she simply in the worst place at a bad time? This poor introvert won't know until he is brought in the middle of a muderous situation, his life and familys on the line. The question is though, is this summary a hint for what is to come or a misleading statement to keep you on your toes? Read to find out! This is a story adaptation of my group's real dnd homebrew campaign! The story follows three main characters: Orion, an apathetic Drow from a Nobel family of assassins that he's recently disowned. He's cutthroat, tactical, and most importantly, he works alone. Faentom, a bubbly and outgoing Eladrin Elf who grew up in a small village in the feywilds. She was adopted and grew up with no other Eladrin to teach her about herself and she's spent her whole life craving to find out. And Eli, a chronically anxious Half-Elf cleric from the Twin Alters monastery. As a bastard his family never truly saw him as one of their own but he was forced to step up nonetheless to one day take over his fathers position as head cleric. Living vastly different lives in vastly different lands, the three of them somehow wake up in a strange hovel with no memory of having known each other, how they got there, or where they are. But wasting no time at all a mission is thrust upon them, a dangerous entity has been disrupting the feywilds, strange attacks and kidnappings, and polluting the waters. Will the group accept the mission or make their own mission of trying to figure out what happened to them and returning back to their previous lives? What will they discover, who will they meet along the way, and will they discover, if anything, about themselves?
