It's caused by a very abnormal and twisted looking monster by the name of 'The Rippler.' There was only one group, the Numbskulls, that had been brave enough to even try and defeat 'The Rippler' as they had figured clues along the way for solving the murder cases. See Phillip 'Skullram' Lionel, the leader of 'Numbskulls', and his group along the troubles in both high school and other places, mainly their meeting spots as conflicts between members nearly take it a bit too far...
