Tale of a worn-out marriage

Laurie returns to Concord after Amy's rejection and Beth's death. In the mailbox he finds the letter Jo wrote to him and they decide to give their relationship another chance. They quickly marry and everything else become a spiral of regret, that is until Amy returns and he has to face the situtaion again, now deep in a marriage that shouldn't have existed.
