Alex Dartmoor has kept a secret her entire life. But when she finds herself kidnapped by a motley of teens with powers like hers and a mysterious man named Commander Pyro, she realizes that she's not completely alone.
After training her own group of kids, the "Spiders" are sent out into the world to become vigilantes and control crime. But there's a sinister force taking down the teams one by one, and Alex once again finds herself alone.
But this source of evil might be hiding closer than she thinks...
