Gwendolyn "Gwen" Donnelly has only ever wanted one thing in her life: become class president.

In her senior year of high school a shocking murder throws a wrench into her plans. Gwen finds out that her favourite history teacher has been murdered and that he isn't the first nor the last victim. She is determined to catch the person responsible even if it means working with her rival.

Theo Lockwood has two goals in life.

One: become the best football player in the history of Saint Alderidge Academy.

Two: become class president.

With his father pressuring him day and night, failure is not an option. When he finds out about Gwen trying to be the next Sherlock Holmes he decides to help her out in the hopes it will distract her long enough so that he can become class president.

"Two academic rivals must unravel a corruption case while battling the undeniable chemistry between them." Ava, the confident and stunning blonde law student, is known for her intelligence and charisma that makes her a standout in the faculty. She's always been at the top of her class, excelling in academic competitions and being a social force. But there's one person who competes with her at every turn-Logan, a brooding and intense law student with exceptional skills and a sharp mind. The two are constant academic rivals, constantly competing for the top spot, and their rivalry has made them dislike each other from the start. However, when a high-profile corruption case surfaces, both Ava and Logan are forced to team up in order to solve it. The case involves uncovering corruption within the legal field, requiring them to dig into sensitive areas and connect various pieces of evidence. This new challenge pushes them to work closely together, forcing them to confront not only the case but also their own personal histories and secrets. Logan, who has been burned by betrayal in the past, keeps his walls high and remains distant from others, especially Ava, who he sees as someone who plays the social game too well. On the other hand, Ava struggles to see Logan as more than just a grumpy, distant competitor who keeps everyone at arm's length. But as they collaborate on the case, Ava begins to uncover Logan's hidden vulnerabilities, and Logan starts to see the real, sincere side of Ava that isn't just about winning or looking good. As the case intensifies, they must decide whether to stay true to their personal beliefs and fight for justice or let their growing feelings for each other undermine everything they've worked for. Their rivalry shifts into something far more complicated-an undeniable attraction that neither of them can easily ignore.

The rivalry between high schools is fierce. But the rivalry between Baylor High School and Brentwood High School was fiercer. When people come to these schools, they learn two very important things quickly. 1. Every competition between these schools matters. If you lose, you are shamed. 2. Absolutely NO contact with anyone from the other school Alexa Baker had to live and die by these rules because her brother Seth promised that if she didn't, he would make the rest of her junior and senior year hell even when he was at college. He was the reigning senior state quarterback. He couldn't have his little sister of all people break these rules. So even with all of her curiosity towards the mysterious people of Brentwood High School, she stayed away and stuck with her friend group. Until a run in with a mysterious stranger at a sold out movie makes her rethink everything she thought she wanted. A conversation she overhead drags her into a secret bigger than the rivalry that shaped her childhood. And Homecoming...well, Alexa's life would never truly be the same.
