Ghost has always been a cold soldier but, when Soap came around he wasn't so hardcore. Soap had a good effect on Ghost, but Ghost dared not to say or show it. During a Mission to stop Makarov, Makarov Shot and killed Soap and Ghost just sat there holding Soap, after witnessing his best friend whom he never admitted was his best friend die before him.
