The idea of being a healer at such a young age was traumatic enough for leafbane!   As he figures out how to learn about the gods he is puzzled  at the thought of the using spirits to help heal people!  The young shaman apprentice also learns about tattooing a piercing as a way of helping others!
Leafbane soon develops is on rituals surround the gods and he finds that that is a great evil that is trying to destroy his very soul!
