For ten years the great city has been eating itself alive.

The ancient artifact mines of Tandoor which once produced a steady stream of valuable items has dried up. Devoid of a source for wealth the Merchants resorted to mercenary work and enslavement to cut costs. Worse yet, the Merchant King has died, murdered in his own chambers, leaving his only daughter to fend off the wolves. The proud city of Sand and Stone, once a bustling center of commerce, is selling itself off piece by piece. Yet none of this matters, for in the dreadful mines of Tandoor a slave with the strength of a giant finds a suit of armor that no one else can wear.

His name is Brutus, and he's itching for a fight.

In Farmstead Village, I thought I understood love... until it destroyed everything. When I saved a wounded wolf, I ignored every warning, drawn to his piercing eyes and the secrets they hide. But the night he transformed into a man, my world shattered. His voice was thunder, his fury a storm, and his words branded my soul: 'Welcome to your worst nightmare.' Now, with danger closing in and my heart caught in the crossfire, I must face the truth-did I save a beast, or unleash the king of monsters? ************ Lightning tore across the heavens the night Beauty stumbled into the path of King Tan Lee - the merciless Lycan ruler whose name made even monsters bow. She was human, the daughter of his greatest enemy, and the cursed girl whispered to bring the end of the world. Yet when her eyes met his, something ancient stirred - a bond neither prophecy nor pride could deny. In the frozen wilderness beyond the village walls, survival isn't guaranteed-it's earned. Grey, a sharp-eyed young hunter gifted with the ability to see ethereal threads of light connecting all living things, walks a thin line between life and death with every step into the snowbound forests. His gift is his greatest tool-and his deepest secret. When the Grand Hunt leads Grey and his squad to a chilling encounter with a monstrous creature and a group of robed strangers led by a sinister old man, the world he thought he knew begins to crack. Ancient powers stir beneath the frost, and the old man's magic reveals a truth far more terrifying than the dangers of the frozen woods. As the village reels from loss, Grey finds himself facing impossible choices. His gift, once a quiet advantage, now feels like a curse drawing him deeper into a conflict he doesn't understand. Shadows whisper of forgotten paths-ancient roads walked by those who sought strength not just to survive, but to transcend. Paths where power can be cultivated, honed, and wielded by those willing to sacrifice everything. But power always comes at a cost. Blood stains the frost, alliances are tested, and every step deeper into the unknown pulls Grey closer to a path he may not be ready to tread-a path where strength isn't just survival, but transformation. And in the depths of the wilderness, where cold winds carry secrets and danger lurks with every shadow, Grey must decide if he's willing to pay the price for what lies beyond.

The General's Wife - COMPLETED

44 parts Complete Mature

THE GENERAL Seven days. Just seven days. That was how long it took for Prudence to put a crack in my meticulously built armor. For half of my life, I managed to elude my pursuers-women and enemies alike-by hiding my true identity. And for that same amount of time, I had followed four simple rules: don't let a woman become a distraction, don't become someone's pawn, don't lead by emotion, and don't show mercy unless it is necessary. *** "If you were to ask me about military strategies, I could tell you a dozen ways to defeat your enemies. If you were to ask me about combat, I could show you a dozen ways to defend myself. "But when it comes down to matters of the heart, I have no clue. I don't know how to comfort you. I don't know how to be eloquent about my feelings. "But one thing I can do...is show you."
