After a job provided by Rex goes wrong, the batch discover something about one of their own that they never knew. This infomation soon comes to haunt the batch as the past catches up to a certain marksman who has no choice but to 'disappear' from the universe in order to keep everyone safe but it costs him deeply. At what cost? Well in fact, it impacts the lives of all those around him, not that they know it.
The memory of the past is fuzzy to some until a young blood female child takes the shot that ends the war against the ruthless Empire, but not only does happiness come, the past returns and not everyone is happy to discover what has happened.

Terms of abuse is used (brief attack happens at the very start - almost sexual abuse)

Aurora Ealis is a Bounty Hunter who thinks that it's best to be alone in life. With no one to care for, loss wouldn't be as such of a big deal. Well that's what she thinks at least. While walking on the moon of Pantora, Aurora was just minding her own business when a small blonde child caught her attention. After following the girl and getting involved she is involuntarily saved by The Bad Batch. Fighting their leader all the way back to Coruscant upon their first meeting; she is glad to be out of their sight for what she hoped was for good. But their little girl isn't one to give up on Aurora. After tracking the bounty hunter down. Hunter got to see the shady part of Coruscant's lower levels that she lives on. He saves her from an ambush and again Aurora finds herself back in the care of the batch. A not ideal situation for her and Hunter couldn't agree more, but as Hunter gets to know Aurora more and more he can't help himself from wondering what happened to her in the past and why she gets so defensive about it. And how would Aurora feel once she is finally forced to face her feelings? Does she embrace it or does she do what she does best and runaway? The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
