When it is announced that Riverview Community College will be holding a game of paintball, all hell breaks loose. Their campus turns into a battle field and getting paint on you means death. Armed with a gun and his charm, Tom grabs his best friend Jane and together they plan to win the war. Jane is a confident, beautiful, and particularly badass girl with a gun held to anyone’s head in a matter of seconds. She thinks she knows all but one thing that she is unaware of is that Tom is absolutely in love with her. Jane and Tom hear that the football team and the cheerleaders have formed an unbeatable alliance. They realise the only way to win the war and end the chaos is to take down their alliance from the inside.
Told from the sometimes meek but always self-assured point of view of Tom, Janie’s got a Gun is a story about bravery, insane courage, and learning to let your heart speak instead of your head.

The Pool Party

They all initially agree to help James, and also want to make some good money from the party. But, there's one girl who wants to see it all burn up in flames. Sammi, a mean, catty, popular girl who has the hots for James, tries everything in her power to ruin Emma. After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home.
