Rome was born into a world where everyone had magic, it simply varied in strength. Unfortunately for him, his magic wasn't just strong. It was elite. While the villagers could barely rustle leaves, Rome summoned thunderstorms when he cried.
His parents did everything they could to protect their fragile, powerful son, raising him in isolation to keep his emotions, and his magic, contained. But the inevitable happened.
One night, everything changed.
Terrified of his growing power, the village sent Rome away to one of the most prestigious magical academies in the country, a place built to train students like him. A place where, supposedly, he could be handled.
But people often underestimate the impact of change.

Based off a prompt on Tumblr: "I want a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities". Molly grew up as a fisherman's daughter in a village by the ocean, so naturally, it was a surprise to her and those around her when she acquired fire powers. Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) Jax was the son of a rich blacksmith, who shocked everyone by developing water powers, and strong ones at that. When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world.
