Set against the backdrop of late 19th and early 20th century Korea, amidst political upheavals and societal transformations, "The Royal Poet's Heart" follows the life of King Kim Tae-hyung of the Joseon Dynasty. Known for his love of literature and poetry, King Tae-hyung is drawn to the brilliant poet, Jeon Jungguk, whose verses captivate not only the king's mind but also his heart.
