Set in 2015 - 2016 Taylor is 25 years old, and is dating her long time boyfriend, Calvin Harris. Travis Kelce is a football phenomenon, and is having the time of his life going to parties and enjoying being young. The two meet through mutual friends, and Travis discovers some holes in Taylor and Calvin's picture perfect relationship. The way Calvin speaks to her just doesn't sit right with him, and the bruises on her arms - well, let's just say you can't get blue handprints around your wrists from falling down the stairs. There is some force pulling Taylor and Travis together, something that neither of them can explain. Can Travis help Taylor escape before it's too late? Can she learn to trust him? Invisible String is a story of love, loss, and the invisible ties that bind us. Lover and Reputation were inseparable as kids, their friendship a perfect balance of light and dark. But fate had other plans, pulling them apart and scattering them down different paths. Years later, they found each other again, older, different, yet still connected by something unspoken. Just as they rebuilt what was lost, a betrayal-or maybe just a misunderstanding-shattered everything, turning love into hate and friendship into rivalry. But some connections can't be severed. As time passes and wounds begin to heal, they realize that maybe they were never meant to stay apart. Maybe every twist and turn was leading them here-to something more than friendship, something deeper, something inevitable. Because no matter how much time passes, the invisible string always pulls them back together.

A collection of one-shots that reimagine the connection between Taylor and Travis, exploring both real-life moments and fictional scenarios where they aren't famous.

According to the belief, an invisible red cord is tied around the finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are "their true love". The string may tangle, contract or stretch but it can never break. The legend of the red thread teaches us, that through a labyrinth of encounters there is a pre-determined and perfect path set out for us by the thread; connecting us on our irrevocable route towards our ultimate destination.

Each one of these chapters are each one of my poems. Most of them are about experiences of people, love, lust, limerence, and most importantly loss.
