Cole was captain of the hockey team, and had scholarship to University of Maine for hockey. Cole and Meredith are going to move into a house with Noah. They are all best friends and they couldn't be happier all together again. Noah's in sophomore year and Cole and Meredith are starting their freshman year in college. It also means Cole has to leave Meredith. He doesn't want to, but this is his new job, and she needs to finish school. He comes home once every couple months, when he has the time. Meredith needs to decide whether she finishes school, or she quits school for a while and moves to Minnesota with Cole. That's a very hard decision for her. But she knows what she wants to do.
