This is the dramatisation of a true story about the invasion of the original inhabitants of 'The Land', now known as Tasmania, Australia, by the British Colonials of the 19th century, and how a once self-sufficient, peaceful and well ordered society was decimated into virtual extinction in less than seventy years.
The Colonials upon arrival in 'The Land' declared it Terra Nullius - Land of None, meaning total disregard of the first nation people's rightful claim to it and or their existence. It is also the story of one brave child and woman, Trucannini, who negotiates a perilous path through the alien and hostile world that was once her free and beautiful homeland.
