No longer deemed useful to the lab, Nine was classified an expired case and his fate was set to be sealed with a single dose of sodium pentobarbital. Alpha Vincent sets out to retrieve a certain Feral Subject after Lupus Medicina's labs facilities shut down. With the kindness of his heart propelling his motives the alpha was not expecting to find his mate perishing in a cell. Will Vincent manage to tear down the walls around his mate's heart? *This is a spinoff to Their Marred Boy. You can read it as a stand alone though reading the other one first would help everything make more sense.

An angry Alpha whose childhood was deprived early due to the death of his parents. He had to grow up too fast and take care of the pack that his mother loved so much. He covered his own sorrow and pain under a cold and rude shell. A broken hybrid that has lost everything, even his own freedom. For years he has been a prisoner, locked in the basement. Suffering because of a sick Alpha. He is numb, nothing matters anymore and now he just hopes that his suffering will finally end. Two souls broken in different ways. Two different tragedies. Together, can they heal each other's wounds? ------- Please note that this is a bxb story, meaning the main characters are both male. If you don't like this, don't read this story. Warnings, the story contains sensitive topics, which I will tell you more about in the author's note. Published in July 2024
