Scythe is a brutal killer, tough, phierce, indestructible. She's a protector, a phighter, and never the weak link. But what happens when the protector suddenly needs protection? When Scythe is injured beyond the usual phighting norm, and Vinestaff, a girl whom she already has a...complicated relationship with, is the only one to help her, can she phinally stop phighting and let herself be the dependent one? Can Vinestaff see past the number over Scythe's head and see the person behind that? Or will the hope for these two phall apart?

(Casual mention, In this fic, when phighters die during phights, they respawn in Zuka's truck and do not reappear until the round is over. As long as phighters stay within the map's bounds- their injuries disappear as soon as they get into the truck.)
