Temari runs away to konoha to flee from her dark past. At her new school she meets lots of people ("youths of konoha"), including Shikamaru. After being friends with him, while still quarreling a lot, he realizes  that there might be more to it, not being sure if she feels the same. Will he confess? And what happened in Temari's past?

also temari is the same age as shikamaru, gaara and kankuro are one year younger. this just fit the story better.
