The Olive Theory: The idea that opposites attract; suggesting that people with opposite preferences are more compatible, like a person who hates olives and one who loves them.
~

Amica Ricci is a normal girl.
She is popular, gets good grades, and keeps her mouth shut. But in reality, she is hiding, terrified of who she is, constantly worrying about what her peers think of her while trying to win their approval. She has carefully constructed a person to fit what others want of her and hopes to win the affection of Peter, her dream guy, with this fake person she has become.
Michael is the complete opposite.
He couldn't care less about what others think of him. In his mind, everyone around him is a mindless idiot for following the superficiality of popularity and the social hierarchy of high school. He is too focused on other things, like improving his mental health for his mother as he deals with the aftermath of his sister's death and the absence of his father, to worry about things like relationships or doing well in school.
And Amica can't stand him.
To her, all he is is her best friend's infuriatingly handsome and annoying boyfriend. But with what seems to be a push of fate, their lives become more intertwined, and everything Amica initially loathes about him, the easy charm, the casual irreverence, starts to chip away at her carefully constructed world. The lines between friends and more blur as Amica and Michael navigate love, loss, and the messy complexity of being true to oneself in a world that demands conformity. The Olive Theory is a story of opposites attracting will challenge readers to rethink their perceptions and embrace the beauty of embracing the unexpected.

Fourteen-year-old Edison Green may be a genius, but he doesn't have a clue about what to do on his first day of high school. After being homeschooled until age 9 and then starting college courses, Edison doesn't have any experience with kids his own age. His parents believe he has a rare gift and they don't want him to be distracted by the menial problems of teenagers; instead, they want him to focus on his research project, which could be the next big breakthrough in physics. Edison loves physics more than anything, but loneliness and curiosity about life outside his world cause him to rebel. He goes on strike, refusing to continue his studies until his parents agree to let him go to high school for one year. Edison isn't worried about high school being hard--after all, he's been invited to join Mensa International--an exclusive club for the top 2% of the world's smartest people. But he finds out quickly that it takes more than a high IQ to traverse the social events and activities at Southton High School. During an unfortunate encounter with the school's most popular athlete, Edison meets Christina Blakely, who saves him from getting pummeled on his first day of school. She is the exact opposite of him in every way. Christina is a soccer phenom who doesn't have time to be friends with lowly freshmen. She's got problems of her own, including a low GPA, which could prevent her from getting a college scholarship. Can Christina achieve the impossible-the highest GPA she's ever had--and earn her scholarship? And can Edison prove to his parents and everyone else-including Ashley Murray, the most beautiful girl he's ever seen-that he can do more than solve difficult math problems? Can he really change the world with his research project, win Ashley's heart and survive high school?

"In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." -Pride and Prejudice. -Jane Austen. Allison Waters is a girl as simple as they come, atleast that's what she believed. And to be honest she did enjoy a simple life for the past two years. All she wanted to pass her senior year in peace and be happy in life. What she wasn't expecting was to be back in town with a certain Greek God of a Devil acting more annoying than ever... Calling him tall dark and handsome would be the understatement of the century. He is the arrogant quarterback and one of the most popular guys in shcool. He is as I mention previously the reincarnation of the devil in his actions and a Greek God in the looks department, with startling blue eyes, a sinful body and gorgeous hair, who may at different times define the words Cocky and Adorable. Quite a contrast isn't it? Well that's who he is, or for that matter how we all are... a bit of both. Ashton Fobes is Alli's bestfriend, well Ex-Bestfriend, he is also her arch nemisis, her sworn enemy, but he is also the only one who can make her push her limits and challenge her in ways she never thought possible. Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead. Ps: I have now unpublished most of the chapters. Highest Ranking: 30, 35, 50 in teen fiction. 32, 66 in ChickLit. 46, 47, 78 in humor.
