Noctyrnal is a boy x boy shonen-anime inspired story based in a world where humans are prey to the Noctyrnes--demonic creatures who emerge from the earth's core. Only humans infected by a Noctyrne's venom (and who are lucky enough to survive it) have a chance at fighting them, thus becoming Noctyrnal themselves. However, with the gift of power comes the risk of losing one's humanity.

Volume Two: The Outskirts Arc

After Augie has survived The Archion, he must work together with the other four survivors to investigate a Noctyrne infestation in the Outskirts. However, he struggles with his powers more than any other new recruit, and he can't seem to connect with his peers, either. Furthermore, he finds himself torn in two directions when an unexpected love triangle springs up. But when the team realizes there's much more to their mission than just a simple Noctyrne infestation, they all must work together to make it home alive.
