Trouble And Money

Thomas Allston is a former cop who was kicked off the Norfolk, VA, police force for a "bad shoot." He loses his job and his wife, who moves on to Allston's ex-boss. As Allston said he felt like he got kicked in the Doo-Dads a few times, he moves to the northern coast of New England, where he gets a dog, a small home with an ocean view, and starts over by building his Private Investigator business.

Allston meets a tremendous woman. Their first encounter is fueled by attraction, humor, and a few too many Margaritas. They have been together since that night. Eve is educated, smart, and beautiful. She owns a trendy bakery/coffee shop that she built after working in the financial industry for a few years. Like Allston, she had a little trouble in her past.

She likes that he is real. He likes her butt and the way she thinks.

They get along by slowly opening up to each other, always joking around and moving forward.

Complications happen when Allston's dangerous job gets in the way of their peaceful life. Some people want to kill this former Marine and cop for cases that he has worked on in the past. His current caseload keeps him busy, and Eve is also busy building a thriving business, but she gets interested in Allston's cases and occasionally participates in helping to solve them.

These are two quick-thinking people who take action when needed.
