The year is 1995. You're a twenty-six-year-old woman who went to school in Baltimore, Maryland a decade back. You had a few good friends. Especially Dog Day, Kickin Chicken and some others. Dog Day being the most reasonable friend of them all. They warn you about a certain guy that goes by Catnap after you develop a crush on him. But you heed the warnings. You end up winning Catnap over because he likes you too. 
He eventually disappears, making you sad. You did hear about disturbing events going on in your school, though. Ten years later, you stumble upon Catnap again. And let's just say he's still happy to see you. So happy... he won't let you go.

It only takes so long for one's sanity to fade though. After an incident with one of his few best friends, he's had enough... He decided to execute a plan he had made years before. Flee... Far... Far away... past Critteriffic Heights Perhaps he could finally find someone who cares and accepts. Maybe even something he was inches away from getting right before he left. Maybe now he can be him. Somewhere else, a dog critter was walking back into his house after a long day of playing around with his friends. When he got inside, he started making his way to the bedroom to rest for the night. But in the corner of his eye, he sensed movement. He tensed up as he decided to investigate it from the window. And there he saw it... Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.
