Isabelle (Belle) Contreras is the long term babysitter of Carl Grimes. She was with him when everything went to shit. His mother was on a date with Shane at the time. The two had been continuing their affair even while Rick Grimes, the husband and best friend, was fighting for his life in a coma.

The two were wracked with grief about Rick while his mother sought comfort from her side piece. Belle remained strong for the deeply depressed boy, staying by his side and protecting him when Rick wasn't there.
