Evelyn's heart pounded in her chest as she carefully set up snares and camouflaged herself in the surrounding foliage. She knew that the Hunters were close, their footsteps echoing through the dense forest. She had to stay one step ahead of them, using every skill she had learned over the years to evade capture.

Nate watched her intently, his piercing blue eyes scanning the area for any sign of danger. He was impressed by her skill and bravery, feeling a growing sense of admiration for her. He had been drafted into this hunt against his will, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe for Evelyn's ability to survive in such a hostile environment.

The Hunters moved through the forest with military precision, every step taken with deadly purpose. They were determined to capture Evelyn at all costs, their eyes locked on their target, ready to strike at any moment.
Evelyn's petite frame moved quickly and confidently as she set up traps, her piercing green eyes scanning the area for any sign of danger. She knew that one false move could mean the end of her life, but she refused to give in. She was a survivor, and nothing would stop her from making it out of this forest alive.
As the sun began to set, Evelyn heard a twig snap behind her. She whirled around, her hand automatically reaching for her hunting knife. It was one of the Hunters, his expression cold and calculating as he raised his weapon.
But Evelyn was faster. She lunged forward, her knife flashing in the dying light.

Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you." The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad." With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there." With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.

(completed) When Evelyn Cruz, the youngest of the Cruz siblings, comes full circle back to an old family friend, she instantly is flooded with old memories. The Valor's have come back with business. That's all they truly cared for. The eldest son of the Valor's, Grayson, had made a promise to the Cruz siblings to never leave. That promise was broken 5 years ago. Though, the one most affected was Evelyn. He had solely set the promise from her words. He promised to not leave and cause her to become the taker of the family business she never wanted. Will she be able to forgive him? Or will they both have to live with a lost connection beyond repair? ~~~~~~~~~ I'm trying my best to not listen to his voice booming behind me. Following me. "Evelyn, please!" Grayson's footsteps are getting closer to my trail and I can't help but speed up. But no matter how hard I tried to get away from him, he caught up to me. "Evelyn-" Grayson's arm wraps around my arm and I'm tugged back, flipping around to face him. "What the fuck do you want Grayson?" My harsh voice echos in the empty, open hallway. "God, I dont know what you want me to do. I have tried everything to get you to forgive me." He takes a sharp breath when I pull a knife out of my pocket and hold it to his stomach. "You really want to know why I haven't forgiven you?" He stares down at me blankly and gives a short nod. "Because you took the one thing I hoped you would care for." I press the knife ever so slightly more into his skin, causing only a small reaction from Grayson. His jaw clenches before he speaks. "And that is?" I shake my head at how stupid he is. You would think the taker of the Valor family business would be smarter. But no. I use my free arm to grab his tie and tug on it, leaning him down. He was so close to me. I could feel his warm breath against my lips. We were only inches away. "My trust Grayson."

I was swift in tackling my molesters, but was no match to their large structure in this vacant street, in this middle of the night. I started running and saw a car approaching me. I smiled and waved at it, but my running feet stopped when I recognized the same old blue Jaguar. The first man growled, "You bitch. I am gonna show you the worst night of your lifetime." "Do anything you want, but please take me with you!" I cried desperately. "You want us to take you?" The second man spoke in disbelief. "Yes! Do whatever you want with me but please protect me from-" I turned speechless in terror. "What's up with those big guys and that tall man who looks like a mere boy? Who is that man you are running away from?" The first man asked curiously. I controlled my tears, "He... he is my older brother." Evelyn's molesters were startled as to why she wanted to run away from her older brother.
