Another Day in the Dark

14 year old Paige Hyland has had it rough since her father left her, her mother, sister and brother alone about a year ago. Since then her whole family has fallen apart. Her mother won't even get out of bed. Her 18 year old sister, Brooke, won't do anything to help out. She's got a boyfriend who is bad news and is always high. She spends most of her time at home fighting with her mom. Her brother is 16, his name is Josh. Josh and paige were best friends until their dad left. Josh tried to help by spending the summer mowing lawns and doing work to pay for things for him and Paige. When nobody else cared he was there, until the winter. When winter hit it was harder for him to find work so he just gave up like everyone else. He's failing school and plays X- Box all day. He hasn't said a word to Paige in weeks, just like the rest of the family. With a broken family and no friends how is paige supposed to make it through the bullying and the hate she receives while suffering of depression.
