Not always hopeless

An apocalyptic world. Not only does everyone have to worry about zombies but also creatures called parasites. They come in different sizes and colours. So the zombies are more of an afterthought because of that.

Then there are two people, who just try to survive in this cruel world.

Lucas is hiding a dark secret. But what? He doesn't trust easily and he hates the government, or what left of it, quite a bit.

Mike is a nice person. But not a kind one. Many people don't know the difference. Nice is when someone is polite to your face. But wouldn't risk his life for strangers. Kind is when someone is kind to their core and are willing to risk their life for random people.
