"if legacy had a voice," is a collection of poetry I indulge in between writing novels. Sometimes we just need a place to go where we can be unapologetically honest, and a blank Google Doc creates that space for me. Enjoy some of my brutal truths poured from my side of the screen to yours.

This isn't a story. It's about people with problems in life aka depression/anxiety/anything else you need help with. We're all hiding inside ourselves and don't know what to do. I hope to help... If you have problems, I highly recommend this. I'm open to any suggestions on what to talk about in this book and you can also pm me if you have a problem and need someone to talk to. This book is a poem book of my life pretty much. Its my thoughts and emotions spoken in a different suppossed to be more emotional and deeper way then just looking at what happened and crying about it. What happened can never be fixed but I won't let those people go by un-noticed and I hope karma sincerely kicks them in more then the ass someday. I don't wish pain upon no one but I do crave for them to just UNDERSTAND what they made me feel since they all walked away without a scrape, just a smirk on all their faces in the end. Or they're narcassistic. Theres also letters to people who I still think of to this day that will probably never read them but you guys still hold a special place in my heart. Maybe, There is a Happy Ending
"There were times of hardship when people forget the courage they need to keep fighting; and survive. But I think as long as we have something or someone to believe in, to keep close in our hearts, courage will never truly leave us. We only have to reach deep in our heart to find it." I never thought I was going to escape my abusive parents. I could no longer see that one light at the end of my tunnel. I was trapped, no way to escape. You would never believe that one trip to the New York Hospital could change my life drastically, and not in the way you guys are thinking. Not negatively, but positively. Thanks to my Doctor and his son, I could finally say goodbye to my dark past and say hello to my bright future involving a massive emotion... LOVE. So, Maybe... There is a Happy Ending.Complete

Broken
An unexplainable pain ran through my entire system, making breathing difficult. I tried to breathe, but I couldn't. The emotions of the past few days, finally, coming out. I did not deserve to be dry whilst she was six feet under. I had killed her, with my own bare hands. I was not paying attention, and because of that I lost her. ★★★★★ Adam had lost that which meant the world to him, and he felt like life had lost its meaning. If it wasn't for his daughter, he had no idea as to how he could still be alive. At an unexpected time, someone came into his life, and made his new normal, not feel so normal anymore. I dont know my parents , i heard that my dad abandoned me when I was 5 years and my mom died while giving birth to me . that's what I knew by then . Nothing Like That
Life, that's the funny thing about it. We always wanted things to go the way that we imagined it too, but of course plans just always have to change. What if we could've thought about how we wanted our lives to go from in the womb? Wouldn't that make everything so much better? What if we could've created our husbands/wives for ourselves, would that make us a God/Deity? Maybe, just maybe. We were all just living our truths and we needed people to come into our lives to shine the light where we always played blind to. This was about to be the reality of everything that we tried so hard to envisioned for ourselves. It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again. The longer you sit in silence the more power your abuser still holds over you, wipe your face warrior, because there's a lion right inside of you, DONT EVER GIVE UP!" *This story is FULL of TRIGGERS, please be careful reading if triggers are hard for you, your mental health matters* *I own all the Rights to all parts of this book*

Squeal to His Curvy Chick I placed my head in my hands, I felt like crap, my mind went to the razors and how that pain would make me feel better but I can't do that to Chris and I made a promise to Andrea but are they really worth it?. I got up from the bed and went onto the balcony, we were on the second floor. I contemplated suicide so many times I've lost count. It must be amazing to feel nothing, to be numb. I know they'll miss me but after a while I'll be nothing but a faint memory, Andrea will move on being a mother, Alex will find someone great to love and have a few children and Chris will find someone better, right?. I stared at the sky, the sun was blazing and the sky was clear. I felt the morning breeze hit my skin sending a shiver down my spine. Why did it have to me is a question I used to ask every day until Andrea came into my life and now I just feel like giving up, I took a deep breath and gripped onto the railing.Complete
