The Lands Between - Age of Dragons picks up where the game left off. The first seven chapters follow the stories of various characters, all inspired by characters I have played within the game. The motivations of the characters vary. Some work to claim the Great Runes for themselves in a bid for power. Others work to enact the will of the Outer Gods - extraterrestrial deities fighting for influence among the Lands Between. Their actions lead to a siege of the capital of Leyndell, where the Dragon King Cyrus slumbers upon the Elden Throne. Each chapter focuses on a specific character and is largely told from their perspective, although they do intertwine quite a bit, resulting in captivating storylines and epic battle scenes. All Elden Ring related material, including characters and images, are owned by FromSoftware.
