It's a few years after graduation at Canterlot College. Rainbow Dash has settled into her temporary placement on the official Canterlot soccer team whilst Applejack has continued with her work on her family farm, Sweet Apple Acres.
The 7 friends have lost touch over time, some still keeping in contact, but nothing close to the friendships they used to have back in high school.
Life gets in the way for each of them, however, when they all happen to be invited to the same party, they find that their friendship is worth keeping hold of; but for some, a little more than a friendship is in the picture...
